Our story

Hello, I’m Claire - founder of Barn & Bloom, floral designer and proud mummy to Elsie and Alfie.

Barn and Bloom grew from a love of nature, storytelling and heritage. Nestled in the rolling countryside of Dumfries & Galloway our little floristry studio operates from a 16th century barn steeped in character and surrounded by lochs, livestock and the echoes of old church bells. It’s a space where the wild meets the heartfelt - much like the flowers I like to work with.

I trained at the prestigious Tallulah Rose Flower School where I honed my style in natural, free flowing design. My work is rooted in nature using British grown blooms where possible and favouring seasonal favourites - always chosen with intention, always artfully wild.

My passion lies in creating florals that tell a story: whether for weddings, gatherings, gifting or heartfelt workshops. I believe flowers speak volumes and I want Barn and Bloom to be a space where beauty, trust and personal expression bloom hand-in-hand.
